WHAT ARE NEUROMODULATORS?
Neuromodulators are FDA-approved prescription medications that are injected into the muscles to block the release of chemicals that cause muscles to contract. By reducing muscle contractions, neuromodulators smooth out wrinkles and provide a more relaxed, revitalized and youthful appearance. These injectable medications are commercially known as Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport and work by temporarily relaxing the muscles responsible for facial expressions.
